What is a cell? The smallest single unit of a larger organ or organization.
We see in the beginning that the New Testament Church emphasized this gathering of it’s smallest unit. Acts 5:42 “And daily in the temple and in every house (CELL), they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”
At LHI, our desire is to increase the Kingdom of God, one house at a time.
As we do, we are helping your local church fulfill their vision. However, our home group must not be dominated by or promoting any local church.
All believers must unite with one goal, NOT further divide.
Rev.3:11–”Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.”
We as Christians today have the greatest opportunity to receive a “soul winner’s” crown. Jesus IS coming quickly. We equip saints to receive this crown. For more information about cell groups and cell group development please see the following topics:
Witnesses Defined
Acts 1:8 says that after we are filled with the Holy Spirit, that we shall be the Lord’s witnesses. This is not a request but a demand. Whether good or bad, you are a witness. Your witness is not for your local church but for the Lord Jesus Christ!
The word witness is translated “martyr.” Now this verse is not saying that everyone must physically die a martyr’s death. Yet all must die. Our personality must die. All of our good reasons not to witness must die. Then by faith, count all the above as LOSS and press toward the mark, taking hold of the prize.
Soul Winning Cell Groups
These home meetings are a training ground for soul winners. But as alcoholics have AA to encourage one another and have fellowship, so also Soul Winners must be encouraged and have fellowship with those of like vision. AA meetings contain enough support to help keep these members maintaining their goal for one more week. Every believer’s goal should be to “be on call” 24-7 to give their witness.
LHI recognizes these truths:
1. Soul Winners are in a minority. (Less than 20% of true Christians have led one person to the Lord in their entire life.)
2. Soul Winners NEED support groups to succeed.
3. Soul Winners NEED to hear testimonies from those who are succeeding.
Cell Group Development
The heart of LHI’s vision is duplication and multiplication. For example, when the group grows to twelve it’s time for two new cells of six each. By sharing your testimony these new groups grow to twelve by multiplication. As for the word duplicate ,we desire our group leaders to duplicate the vision given them.
The first group started in your home could quickly increase to nearly a hundred people by the end of that same year. That translates into approximately eight groups of twelve each, or fifteen groups of six each.
Cell Group Format
We will provide the teaching to cell group leaders on cassette or CD Rom. It’s important for group leaders to adhere to the format of these meetings.
Meetings should last about one hour and should include:
1. Teaching from cassette/cd
2. Success testimonies of being a witness.
3. Prayer one for another (should be audibly in your known language.)
4. Fellowship with one another. (Please offer coffee ONLY).
*Group leaders do not have to lead their group from their own home.
*Every group leader should find one who he could also mentor.
Our vision is to increase the kingdom of God in every local community in the world. We must duplicate the success God gives us into those whom we mentor. The success of the home groups comes from every member keeping their focus on the vision.

Apostolic Head
The founder of LHI, Daryl Thies, has flowed in the apostolic gift of God for over ten years. This mantle or covering is not yet understood in the Body of Christ. (To Him the Porter Openeth/e-books)
Latter House Meetings that are submitted to it’s head have an apostolic covering. Paul was called to the Gentiles. Peter was called to the Jews. Daryl Thies is an apostle of reconciliation. He is called to all those who have a burden to reconcile the world back to Jesus.
How Do I Start?
Do you sense the Lord is tugging at your heart to contact us? Remember, we are not looking for preachers but rather those who would adhere to the vision we give them in these meetings. Also, these home group meetings should never replace the fellowship people have in their individual churches.
