Latter House International began in a jail cell as Daryl Thies, Vietnam vet and addicted to drugs, turned to Jesus Christ with a Godly sorrow. In one glorious sweep down and then back up his body, Daryl was saved, delivered, and filled with the Holy Ghost.
From that first day in prison, until this very hour, Daryl lives to win one more soul. Everywhere he goes – each meeting he plans — his theme is evangelization.
After attending Bible School, Daryl and family pioneered 5 churches in Michigan and Vermont. On a trip to Moscow and Leningrad in ‘87 a vision for the former Soviet Union was planted deep in their hearts and in ‘93 the call was “TO GO.”
The fruit of nearly 10 years on the field:
*In Southern Russia and Soviet Georgia thousands of lives touched.
*20,000 born again
*16 churches started with “cells”
*17,000 Georgian New Testaments and Psalms distributed.
*16,500 Christian books have been translated into the Georgian Language and distributed.
In Soviet Georgia, latterhouse – cell groups were birthed. In these cell groups the new believers were taught how to quickly see their new – birth experience duplicated before they were talked out of this work by Christian friends. The groups were a training ground for soul-winners.
In Georgia: Our vision was placed deep in Ruslan Tsintsadze, who has started training believers to be more effectual witnesses. His work has now been embraced by many local churches.

Liberia:
While Liberia was being torn with war a passion for our vision was deposited into David Snydler. David has seen great success in Liberia’s capital of Monrovia. David’s cell groups have produced a great harvest of souls in this country.
